Heli-Tractor meets all Euro gap and Global gap (for export into Europe) spraying requirements, so our customers have no failure in meeting the audit requirements for their crop exports.

Electrostatic Spraying

Electrostatic spraying is highly effective because it uses electrically charged droplets that are attracted to plant surfaces, covering more area with less liquid. For example, smaller droplets (80 microns) can cover nearly three times more area than larger droplets (220 microns) and reduce waste by targeting plants more precisely, even in hard-to-reach spots. The electric charge helps the droplets stick to the plants, overcoming wind and evaporation, resulting in more uniform and efficient coverage compared to conventional spraying.

Electrostatic Spraying in Action

Visually, the difference between electrostatic spraying and normal aerial spraying lies in the droplet distribution and coverage on the plants.

Electrostatic Spraying: The droplets are smaller, more uniform, and evenly distributed across the target surface. Due to the electrical charge, they are attracted to the plant surfaces, even wrapping around to cover the underside of leaves and hard-to-reach areas. You would notice a more consistent and thorough coating on the plants, with less visible drift in the air.

Normal Spraying: The droplets are larger and less uniform, often resulting in uneven coverage. There is usually more visible drift, with some droplets missing the target entirely or accumulating in certain areas. The spray tends to settle more on the tops of plants, with less coverage underneath leaves or in hidden spots.
